  •  Triton Restoration Formula and Triton Sediment Digester contain a large diversity of microorganisms. This diversity helps ensure the viability of the microorganisms when they are used in hostile aqueous environments. Those products, which contain only a few strains of bacteria, are less likely to proliferate and perform their necessary functions.

    Triton Sediment Digester Reduces Sludge Buildup -
    The microorganisms used in the Triton Sediment Digester are specifically developed to digest organic matter. The microorganisms will colonize in the sludge, on the pond’s bottom, and accelerate its decomposition. Most people believe that the excess nitrates and phosphates in the water environment fuel the uncontrolled vegetative growth, however, this is not accurate. The out of control plant growth is fueled by the accumulated organic waste at the bottom of the pond, which is providing the plants a nutrient-rich compost pile to grow in. If you reduce the sludge, you reduce the undesirable plant growth.

    Directions for Use:
    1. Vigorously shake the bottle containing the concentrate to suspend the microorganisms evenly throughout the entire volume.

    2. Disperse the desired amount of Sediment Digester or Restoration Formula evenly around the body of water. (This is best accomplished by diluting the concentrate into several gallons of water, then distributing the dilution around the body of water.)

    If foaming occurs after adding solution to the pond, a small amount of an anti-foaming agent may be safely added to the pond water.
